Culture Values Project Switzerland

The project idea was first developed in Switzerland. Starting in summer 2006, much effort was given into the concept. The basic idea is equal to the one currently being revised to be realised on European level. Actually three Swiss companies are designed to assist our researches regarding the social relations between their employees.

Based on Managing Diversity and the Balanced Scorecard an insight onto the current state of integration in these companies will be gained. By using a target-orientated survey the employees’ opinion will be inquired. A further step includes the collection of topic relevant data. Resulting from these, different measures will be prepared to improve the employees’ satisfaction. Consequently the management and the focus group will decide which measurement will be implemented. The whole process will be coached and the results will be evaluated. Finally all data gained from the process in the three companies will be collected and inserted into a new model concerning Human Resource Management.

Regarding the experience and knowledge received during the current Swiss project the coordination of the FP7-project has been possible. A request concerning the project has been made to the Swiss government (Federal Commission for Foreigners) on March 1th 2007. The contacts with several Swiss companies have returned very good feedbacks to the concept. The government of the Kanton St.Gallen agreed to the project, but unfortunately the Federal Governement did not agree to it.
